The Maine Celtic Celebration is a three day, family oriented, celebration of the rich Celtic heritage, culture and hospitality found along the Coast of Maine.
Events and Activities: Parade, Live Music, Dancing, Exhibits, Irish Ceili, Demonstrations, Live Chess, Contests, Vendors, Children's Area, Races, Highland Games (Heavy Events), Sessium, Fireworks and more!

We will be showcasing some traditional Celtic games as well as some events and contests that have the Celtic spirit in mind. One of the most popular contests was the Cod Toss Relay. The Cheese Roll was another event that had the crowd yelling for more. Both of these events will be showcased again this year. Additionally, we will be sponsoring a 5K Road Race. Stay tuned for more information as it develops.
The Highland Games will be located in the field at 256 High Street, Belfast, Maine 04915.

We are an organization run completely by volunteers. We are always looking for people to help out in many ways. We have board positions that need to be filled, committees that need your specific talents and skills, we need new ideas to keep the Celtic Celebration new and vibrant. We also are in need of volunteers to help ensure things go off as planned on the magical days of the event. If you have been to the Celebration, you will have seen us walking through the crowds with green buckets soliciting donations. We also man an information booth throughout the event.
